A Melbourne mother has been ordered by the Family Court of Australia to install a breath-testing device in her home. The matter concerns both financial and parenting issues.

There is a property pool of some $20 million involved. There are 2 children aged 10 and 14.

The order was made to ensure that the mother had a zero alcohol reading before driving the children anywhere in suburban Melbourne.

The court had peviously banned the mother from consuming alcohol for 24 hours prior to spending time with the children.

The matter is ongoing.
