Dean Evans is a partner at Evans Brandon Family Lawyers and a Queensland Law Society accredited Family Law Specialist.
Dean was admitted as a solicitor in 1995 and founded the Firm Evans & Company Family Lawyers, now Evans Brandon Family Lawyers in 1998.
Dean became a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 2001.

Australian lawyers have commenced to be ranked by an independent business known as The Doyle’s Guide. Dean is ranked as a pre-eminent family lawyer by The Doyle’s Guide and the firm he runs with Luke Brandon enjoys a first tier ranking also.
Dean is a Gold Coast local, attending The Southport School and later Bond University.
Since opening the Firm, Dean has mentored several new family Law practitioners, many of whom have gone on to become Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialists in Family Law.
Dean maintains ties with Bond University and routinely conducts a lecture each term when family law is taught to provide students with a practitioner’s perspective about family law in practice.
Dean previously served as Vice President and later President of the Gold Coast District Law Association and conducts work for Anglican Schools Queensland relating to family law issues in the Anglican network of private schools.
Dean also conducts pro bono work in conjunction with the Queensland Homicide Victims’ Support Group, involving urgent Court applications and support for the families of children whose parent or parents have died in tragic circumstances, thereby ensuring best interest outcomes for children in the aftermath of violent crime.
Dean’s case work in family law involves complex property and parenting cases.
